Covering your whole sourcing workflow
Expanding Raylu’s access and coverage.

RELEASE NOTES · SUMMER 2026
This quarter our focus was closing the gaps. You may have noticed a few new changes in the platform already, many of which came directly from your feedback. We also wanted to bring Raylu off platform, expanding your access with new workflows, our MCP, and more data coverage across conferences, people, and Europe, with much more coming soon.
Raylu on any company page
We know sourcing often starts on a company page. Raylu’s Chrome extension allows you to have the whole picture without opening another tab.
Open it anywhere on the web and you get the full profile: financials, headcount, funding, competitors, signals. Jump straight to a key executive’s LinkedIn. Save the company or start outreach on it without leaving the page you were already reading.

Score a whole map in one pass
Raylu’s deal score helps you filter through your market maps at generation, so you can focus on the companies that best match your thesis.
Scoring runs on the data Raylu already holds, from revenue and growth to headcount and hiring trend, funding history and backers, geography, industry and web traffic. Alongside the numbers sit the qualitative reads: what a company actually sells, how sticky the product is, and whether it looks like the kind of business you buy.
We build the score with you. Tell us how your team evaluates a company and we translate it into the model: the weights, the hard exclusions, and criteria as specific as a revenue band, a region, an ownership structure, or a product characteristic that only matters to your fund. Every score shows the reasoning behind it, so you can check the call before you act on it, and we tune it as your thesis moves.

Every score opens up: criterion by criterion, points awarded, and the reasoning behind each call.

Outreach that carries your firm’s context
We help you send more, and faster, without losing your specificity or voice. Raylu’s writing agent ingests your CRM history, your thesis, and the examples that have worked for you, then grounds each draft in research on the company itself.
Outreach supports multistep cadences across LinkedIn, cold calls and direct email. Reference a portfolio company or a target’s competitive advantage in a single prompt and Raylu’s research agent and drafting agent work together to assemble the full context, so none of the heavy lifting lands on you.

Four touches across email, LinkedIn and calls, with the spacing between each one set on the sequence.

The prompt behind each touch, and the email it produced.
Multiple inboxes
Campaigns are no longer tied to one mailbox. Connect as many as you use and pick the Send From address per campaign.

Pick the Send From mailbox per campaign.
Over the Top
Draft outreach to go out from a senior investor’s mailbox, with drafting and approval running as one flow. You keep visibility over everything sent from your inbox, and can give feedback or make edits as necessary.

See who can send as you, and what is still waiting on your approval.

Leave a note on a queued email and it stays paused until your feedback is worked in.
Fallback contacts
Raylu sources contact emails live rather than reading them out of a stale database. Set a primary contact target and a backup, and if the primary doesn’t resolve the cadence moves to the backup instead of stalling on a dead inbox.

Primary contact target, plus a backup.
Show up prepared for every meeting
Raylu now helps you prepare for your meetings ahead of time. Connect your calendar and a brief lands before each one, covering everything you want to know about the company, and it is fully customizable.
Show exactly the sections your team cares about and drop the ones you don’t. Need a one-off for a meeting that isn’t on your calendar? Generate it on the spot from the Meeting Prep Brief tab on any saved company.

Generated ahead of the meeting, from the sections you chose to include.

Better coverage
Conferences
We’ve expanded the conference data available on the platform. The Conferences tab on any company page shows where a company will be, so you can time outreach around the shows they attend, or build a list off a show before you go.

Every show a company will be at, with dates and scale, on its company page.
Deeper European coverage
Deep coverage of European filings, with a full financial tear sheet wherever they exist. EUR figures flow into your market maps alongside everything else, and more countries are on the way.

Income statement, balance sheet, key ratios and cash flow, in EUR, wherever the filings exist.
Raylu, inside your LLM
Raylu MCP allows you to daisy chain Raylu’s tools inside whatever assistant you already work in. Search for companies, enrich what comes back, score them, then draft outreach off the results, all from a single prompt.
Skills package the workflows people run most often, so they’re one sentence instead of six.

One prompt, three tools, and the agent checking scope with you before it builds the map.
A growing list of tools
The full Raylu surface is exposed through MCP, grouped by what you are doing. 43 tools today, and the list keeps growing.

Do more with fewer tokens
Running this work through Raylu MCP costs far less than asking a general assistant to go and find everything itself.

What we’re building now
More ways to search
Thesis exploration, firmographic search and CRM queries in one place. Ask for the companies in your CRM you haven’t talked to in over a year that grew headcount 30%, and get a working list back.
More outreach workflows
Reference lists, reply classification and tagging, and emails drafted off the contact history already sitting in your CRM.
Banker relationship tracking
Keep track of who you know on the sell side, and where those relationships are actually paying off.
Carve-outs
Identify carve-out targets from division and business unit signals.
If something in your setup still takes an afternoon it shouldn’t, we want to hear about it.
